Happiness is arriving at the Bus Stop Coffee House & Community Cafe and discovering that they read my Facebook plea for carrot cake and took pity on me.

    Yum!

I hope you have dropped by to check out the outdoor dining area. Not only do you have the option of seating upstairs or downstairs… it is possible to dine al fresco near the entrance AND  NOW down in the back area where Terri’s gardening skills make you feel right at home.

Today was a bustling day starting with the am kids and coffee crowd.

I met with a client off site and then came back for lunch with the lunch bunch and locals popping in for a quick pick me up and snack.

Now, I’ve got to get back to work but I met a new person from Lake Arrowhead. One of the things I love about this place is how social everyone is.

If you were hankering for carrot cake–it is almost gone but fresh baked cookies just came out of the oven so stop on by!

When I head down the hill I always stop by the Bus Stop Coffee House & Community Cafe (usually stop on my way back too).

Today the place was hopping. In fact, when I got back this afternoon there were only a few seats left both upstairs and down!

Terri has also been working on the patio–which isn’t done but looks fabulous. I am sure she will post a few pictures when she gets a minute.

I am a fan of on Facebook and asked if they would make a carrot cake–no such luck BUT what they did make was a banana cake.

If you have not tried either one–they both are great.

Hard to decide which I like better. I don’t often get a craving for such things but you can bet I asked them to box a piece up to take home!

Usually the baked goods they make never last long.

It was hot down the hill and great to return up to the mountain. And I have to say that I am looking forward to being able to drop back by on Friday!

The Bus Stop Coffee House & Community Cafe was hopping today.

In addition to the regular morning crowd and lunch bunch, GG from the Fawnskin Flyer came down for the day. She usually pops in at least once a week.

Sharon Beth came in to visit and have a great cup of tea while updating her new blog.

Pastor Eric shared the table and continued work on his new website still under construction: Refuge4Youth.

It is a great day here in Running Springs and we hope to see you soon!
